Baja
The state of Baja California is located in north-western Mexico on a peninsula of the same name. It is bordered to the north by the United States, to the west by the Pacific Ocean, to the south by the state of Baja California Sur, and to the east by the state of Sonora and the Sea of Cortez, also known as the Gulf of California. The peninsula comprises, for the most part, one of the most arid regions of the world with wild, solitary landscapes.

This unique region is one of the most interesting and diverse geographical areas of the world and is still very much a frontier. The peninsula is home to some of the earth's most beautiful deserts, along with semi-tropical and mountainous regions, pine forests, and hundreds of miles of untouched beaches and coastline.

Many people enjoy the North Baja area because of its very moderate weather. The winters are very mild, with daytime temperatures hovering from 50 - 60° (F), while summers will typically enjoy average temperatures in the 80's.
